Pelo Dog Brush — Dusty Green
Curly coats need working through gently, not scraping. The Pelo's flexible silicone bristles follow the shape of your dog's body and massage as they groom, lifting loose hair and dirt from a wet or dry coat.
Why it works on a Cavapoo
A slicker brush is the right tool for a full de-matting session, but it's the wrong tool for daily use — the metal pins catch, and most dogs learn to avoid the whole business. The Pelo is the opposite: soft enough that Bailey stands still for it, which means her coat actually gets touched every day instead of once a week under protest.
It won't get through an established mat. Think of it as the brush that stops mats forming — the one that lives by the door and gets used after every beach walk.
In the bath
Works the shampoo down to the skin on a wet coat, which is where sand and salt collect on a Doodle. Rinse it under the tap afterwards and it's clean.
Also useful for
Lifting hair off a dog bed or a car seat. Silicone grips what a lint roller misses.
